| moto-timo | fray: my "Living on Master" ELC talk was about a system that was submodules based... a nightly CI job updated all the upstream layers and created a gerrit changeset for the updates (with git shortlog for each layer in the commit log). The only real issue we had was developers that do not understand git shooting themselves in the foot by making local in-tree changes to the submodules. But you can't fix humans. | 15:26 |
