EschikHas else ran into issues when trying to build cryptography 43.0.1 with the latest openembedded (scarthgap) layers in the yocto project? My system seems to have the issue since upgrading to ubuntu 24.04.1 and says it can not find setup.py therefore it produces: "ERROR: 'python3 setup.py bdist_wheel ' execution failed"16:34

Eschikrburton: I agree, im not sure why the build is trying to do that. I did just find a work around using a setup.py stub that I confirmed does allow python3-cryptography to build though: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/62983756/what-is-pyproject-toml-file-for16:49
