I've came back to the laptop, which was powered-on since yesterday and I've ran `bitbake-layers add-layer ./layers/meta-browser/meta-firefox` and didn't understand why things don't work. Looks like I was in a project directory, but the environment was "sourced" from a different one. I have a suggestion, not sure how feasable it is, but here it is...10:18
walterIn some projects I've been working on, we had wrappers for all important binaries, they were called launchers. launchers Just checked the current project and launched the appropriate binary with the same name in the proper context. Maybe that could work here as well.10:20
walterSo for example, you download a simple script, put it in your `~/.local/bin` or somewhere, link it under different names, like "bitbake", "bitbake-layers", and what not. And when executed, they would look in the PWD and parrent directories to locate the real scripts with the proper code.10:22
walterThis allows you to have the "locality" that other tools offer, but also have the flexibility to ship different scripts in different browsers.10:23
walterDrupal has been using such a thing for more than 15 years now, and the launcher has almost the same code as it had when it started, and I can use a very old launcher in new projects, and it just works, because the launcher identifies the fact that I have a "./vendor/bin/drush" binary somewhere in the parrent of $PWD, and it just gives control to that.10:25

Then clang-native binary is rebuilt with different hash, but the symlink in clang-cross is still the same10:37
JaMa(broken symlink because the target doesn't exist in sysroot-destdir of clang-cross), then clang-cross stays equivalent but the target recipe should have been rebuilt with the new clang binary from clang-native. Can we somehow include out hashes of the dependencies?10:37
JaMaJPEW: khem: the workaround of adding clang-native to direct dependencies might work in this case (build still ongoing) but the same issue might exist in other recipes as well and we might need more robust solution for that10:38
