Guest82Hi eryrone, cleandirs always deletes STAGING_KERNEL_DIR with do_unpack, but the symlink is never reset with an sstate cache hit, causing make-mode-script errors. I have to explicitly add a symlink in do_shared_workdir:append() with in my kernel recipe as in ln -s "${S}" "${STAGING_KERNEL_DIR}". Is this the right approach or do I miss something?06:59

Guest82RP When building a kernel alongside out-of-tree module, hitting on to make-mode-script errors. The reason is the broken symlink STAGING_KERNEL_DIR, which usually resolves to kernel source. I suspect, it gets reset in do_unpack and never get created.07:53
