pseregietHello. I have a question about changing defconfig options in the kernel. So far I always could just add my own .cfg file to the SRC_URI and it would be merged with the defconfig selected for that build. Currently I have a problem that my .cfg which disables sound14:37

pseregietI understand the purpose of this script, if we include two contradictionary config fragments it makes sense to report it, but here we have a case of a base machine .css (intel-i7 in my case, my machine is x86 intel) having a conflict with my fragment from SRC_URI. How am I supposed to override individual options if this is warning worthy ?14:39
pseregietI think this is because one file (kernel-meta/bsp/intel-common/intel-corei7-64-standard.scc) through several includes, eventually sets CONFIG_SND=y and my disable-media.cfg later sets CONFIG_SND to not set, not because I have some options that depend on CONFIG_SND, these would automatically be purged by kernel's makefile, no ?14:42
